Most programming jobs are done in India now.

What they do is send over the request.
100 Indians in a room just program using google/wikis and produce a workable but inefficient code for cheap.
Then they send it back to the UK/California where a team of 4-5 programmers then refine it and transfer it to the company that commissioned the program.

BA and ALL parts of the IT industry are to blame for this. It's not just the Indian part.

Cost saving measures always result in half arsed work. It's neither India's fault or should they be blamed. It's BA not willing to pay a premium for their product and instead getting fucked in the long run.
