I've never visited Northern Ireland and feel like I've massively missed an opportunity to see it at its patriotic best.

Loyalism is a bit of a joke here now.
The "patriotic" bits are niggerish faggots who sit in orange halls and complain about fenians, the government, etc while wanting more handouts and gibsmedats for their parades.
They'll also screech "no surrender" at just about anything they can.

Republicans are a mixed bunch, some have positive views to the UK (usually found in Éire/pol/ quoting collins) and the rest just rip the piss out of the loyalists.

Again-Loyalism here is not seen as patriotic; it's considered a bit embarrassing to openly be a proud loyalist, and most people just stay quiet and vote DUP/UUP.
