A while back, I was out on a trail in my pickup, just having some fun offroading.
I came to a large tree that had fallen across the trail.
I could easily get around it on the side, and I did.
I then stopped on the other side, and winched the tree off the trail, so as to preserve the grass/plants and people could just drive through.

I was not paid, or hired to do this, I just did it because I had the means to, and I was there.

I'm sure someone would just get some wood and build a ramp for the ducks just because they wanted to. They see the ducks struggle to get up the wall with their babies and decide to fix it.

My personal opinion, and I restate that this is my opinion, is that the Japanese people are starting to find family life not important. Japanese culture puts an important emphasis on hard work and productiveness, but even if it did care about family traditions, it would still have relationship problems due to people putting their careers over their own families.

I see this also happening in the West, but white people were smart enough to bring in some cultures that are much more pro-family, hinging the balance. If you've ever visited third world countries, you'd see that for them family is much more important than personal economic success, which isn't the case in the West.

I'm not advocating mass-migration, not miss-migration is bad and it incites public disorder to home communities feeling threatened. But a little immigration with extreme vetting can do much to help the country.
