What is Gnosis?

Ideally, Gnosis is enlightened knowledge, that which is given through inspiration and revelation from within and above. It deals with the ultimate truth of who we are, why we are here, where we are going, and what “this” is all about. It deals with the biggest questions and mysteries of our existence. That is what this section is about.

Gnosticism has always been around, but the Christian form of it blossomed in the early part of the first millennium. The latter is what we conventionally think of as “Gnosticism”, which is the set of beliefs of the early Christian Gnostics according to the scriptures and artifacts they and their critics left behind. But these are just the dried husks left behind.

It’s paradoxical to call oneself a Gnostic nowadays solely by being able to regurgitate these writings, because Gnosis is about direct “inside” information on the Truth through inspiration and revelation. I would add dreams and synchronistic guidance to that as well. It’s about direct access to the higher reality outside this Matrix Control System, to catch glimpses of what’s really going on here.

The early Gnostics would today be called mystics, contactees, and channelers. They had the same faults. Some were deluded, others tapped into disinformation, and many grossly misinterpreted what they saw. Their logic often failed when attempting to draw conclusions from incomplete information. For instance, in seeing that our reality was generated by a tyrannical intelligence who ruled through law, ritual, and regulation, some ignorant Gnostics concluded that rebelling against all law, including morality, was the key to freedom, so they became deviant libertines. It’s from this kind of erroneous rebellious thinking that Satanic / Luciferian streams diverged off the main Gnostic river.

The Truth is too fantastic, grand, complex, and hyper-dimensional to be perfectly explained in our cultural context and language. Anyways, my take on gnosticism is that it was a sort of recognition of just how different the old testament was to the new testament.

I think it was the Manichaens (if I'm not mistakened) who rejected the old testament + the letters of paul and only retained the gospels of Luke, John, Matt., Mark. Jesus was such a kind person in contrast to the wrathful God of the old testament that people thought it must be a completely different revelation (or perhaps the only revelation of the one true God.)

I used to think this way, and it is not my intention to swerve you from your spiritual path (because anyone on a spiritual path is worthy of respect), but the God of Abraham is, to me, the same God of Jesus Christ.

The seemingly evil acts of God in the Old testament (the killing of children, the desire of sacrifice, etc.) on the surface appear absolutely heinous. The point, however, is symbolic. You have to ask yourself "What is the spiritual sense of this passage?" And sure enough, the spiritual sense will be given to you by God.

I mean, it's crazy to think that there's one man built an ark and filled it with all the animals of the earth to survive a flood. That's what a literal interpretation gives you.

But a symbolic interpretation would give you a much richer meaning: the ark of noah is the ark of the covenant; the ark of the covenant is the temple, and the temple is the body of christ, etc.

The whole concept of the Trinity I think is just an unnecessary and unfortunate confusion.

First we must acknowledge that

God is Spirit (John 4:24).

Now,

The Father = the Spirit of God = God

The Holy Sprirt = the Spirit of God = God

Jesus Christ communed with God, meaning that the Spirit of Christ and the Spirit of God communed within the body of Christ. Thus, when Jesus prayed in the Garden, it was his own spirit seeking communion with the Spirit of God.

Christ, in sacrificing himself, effaced his own Spirit to become the Spirit of God in order to fulfill the Will of God. In a sense, he sacrificed himself in order to give the Spirit of God life in the world.

Now when someone does the Will of God, they are, in effect, God. Because they have effaced their own selves to become, metaphorically speaking, an organ in the Body of God. That is why it is written in Psalms 82:6 that "Ye are Gods and sons of the Most High."

Well the epithet "Son of God" is used a lot in the Bible. God calls all of his children (the seed of Abraham) sons of God in Genesis 6:1. I think I remember him calling Ezekiel a Son of God, but I can't find the passage (or maybe he called him Son of Man, I can't remember).

Jesus is the Son of God because he comes from the seed of Abraham. He comes from the Father. I agree. So the Father is God.

Now the name "Holy Spirit" evokes some confusion until you recognize that the Holy Spirit is just another name for the Spirit of God. And since God is a spirit (John 4:24), we can say that

The Father = the Spirit of God = God (since God is a spirit).

The Holy Spirit = the Spirit of God = God (since God is a spirit).

So whenever in the Bible you hear The Father or the Holy Spirit, they're just calling God by new epithets (like the epithet Jehovah, YHWH, Adonai, Lord of Hosts, etc.).

Next you can say that Jesus Christ = God because he had the Spirit of God in him. And that which has the Spirit of God is God, in the sense that anything that does the Will of God is part of the Body of God.

So,

Jesus Christ = God.

Thus, there is no plurality or threeness implied in the being of God.

So what you're saying is
