(It's also the first time I'd heard of the only-paper.ru papercraft forum.)

This looks absolutely fantastic. I don't think i have the time to try that (i'm more an origami person than a papercraft person) but who know...
>>
I have no idea but it's a pretty amazing video.
>>

how does it work exactly? I know its thanks to the balloon, but would like to know how

http://only-paper.ru/forum/38-22814-1 has some of the build info, but it's in the russkaya moonrunes.

I don't see the point of your post. I mean everyone already know paper isn't the best material for a pipe organ.

Agreed, I don't get your point?

I wondered this too so I watched the video closely and around the 0:55 mark it shows that when you press a key a valve opens and the air from the escapes
my guess is that there is a little paper reed in each tube so when the air goes through it the reed vibrates and produces sound
its pretty cool, I think I'm gonna try making this

I don't think there is a reed in there. Pipe organs don't have reed usually, just like a whistle.

The question i have is : how does he do to maintain the chamber airtight and yet have moving parts ?
