Can someone help me perform step 20? I don't think I'm doing it right.
When I try to do the squash, the corner doesn't meet the edge and the little nub by the end isnt there
Here are the previous steps
Ill post the full thing once I get some help
I really like the paper that you are using for this!
I'll try to help you in a while

Looks OK for me.
What little nub are you talking about?
>>544556
Thanks, It's called Lizard Hide. It's thick and usually for wetfolding but I knew it's scaly texture would be perfect for this. I got it in the paper sampler pack from origamishop . US. It's .com for europe.

It was right next to the triangle, but zi decided to wing it and keep moving through the model. I forgot I posted, heres the rest of the diagram. It's from the book "Genuine Origami" by Jun Maekawa. In the Complex Origami chapter.

Well, I'd say you already did what needed to be done when you first posted. Nothing looks weird on your pictures.
Perhaps, it was something from your paper texture.
What about you post the final result with that nice-looking paper?

It's a really thick paper, like hide papers usually are, I wasn't able to get some details but I'm ok with the results. You should post your results if you make it.

Your paper seems springy indeed.
(I won't fold it soon, no paper at hand for the moment.)

It's really spring against the grain, and when you do make sure it's at least 20 cm. My first attempt was with 15cm kami.
