First time posting here.
I am trying to make Marisa's Mini-Hakkero,pic related, and it is hard as fuck.
My most skillful papercraft that I have made is the Spider-Jockey from Minecraft a long time ago so I don't have a lot of experience.
Can somebody tell me how to make the opening mechanism for this?
Any help is appreciated.
Link to full papercraft here if you need it:

I thinks it should look like this, but only has 2 cover.
you should take a look this:

Kinda got it,but I think it works differently here.
Take a look at pic related.I think you stack the parts to make some kind of sliding switch that push the Yin-Yang parts but I don't know what connects with what.
Should I dump the whole template to tell me which part does what or where it goes?I have the base almost figured out but the top part is a pain.

Dumping anyway to make your life easier.

And last the base but I have mostly completed this.

im sorry OP but without more picture refference this shit is too hard to descipher, is there seriously no guide online? even if it's in japanese?

also, because i am a bastard, there's a lore misconception here, the trademarks all over the hajero imply it was made by Nitori, but the lore says it was made by Rinnosuke

....so why publish the papercraft?! what an asshole, too bad though it looked really nice and i believe that doing a mechanism like that isn't difficult, don't know why the creator made such a complicated template

He made it for himself, not for publishing, but he just uploaded it anyway.
You should be able to make it if you can find out where the yin yang parts stick to.
I'd try making it myself but I'm already busy making other stuff.

OP here,I completed the base.
Now here comes the hard part, where do the parts in pic related go?
The others are kinda clear but still.

>The designer himself says it can't be made
Fuck the designer,it's possible.

mate, ying yang simply comes together when you rotate it?
if so i can help you with that, its pretty simple to create such mechanism, you would have to stick it together with the rest by yourself though

after much thinking yesterday night, i believe most of these go inside, making the whole structure much solid. also i think the little squere somehow secures the "power outlet"
