Besides photography, do you have any other hobbies? How well do those hobbies synergize with photography? Post your photos that have something to do with your other hobbies if you'd like.
-Started photoshopping my friends faces on 4chan memes around 5 years ago
-Picked up my phone to take pics to photoshop them into cool locations
-Read the past 1 1/2 years about photography, but never got a cam
-Bought a nikon d80 about 2 months ago
-Can combine cycling + travelling + photoshopping / post processing with photography
Yeh i know, that pic is cringy (also 3 years old), but the people i'm around with were amazed, even tho i placed me into the work of someone else

I play airsoft, ended up being the site photographer. Became part of the star for the site and haven't payed to play in years.
Pic related, self portrait. Very over processed for most peoples tastes on here but fitted the brief.

Obvious how this relates to photography.
>traveling
I find photography tough to do while traveling, but I try
>Furniture design
Light and shadow comes into play when designing. I can take nice photos of the finished project.
To paraphrase a quote I once saw:

Brush, or Coach painting.
It's when you paint something using a brush, instead of a spray gun or a roller like a pleb.
Much like photography, it's a hobby for women, hipsters, and old men.

I take a camera or two along wherever I go, as I like to ride around dirt roads in buttfuck nowhere and see what I find. I've also tried to take photos of some of my weeb shit but I have 0 creativity for setting things up and arranging the lighting.

Lots of other stuff, but in short creating stuff that demolish store bought equivalents by a huge margin. Latest was a sub built with Sundown driver. Built it by ordinary enclosure calculators and tested the enclosure with WinIsd. That port is 3" in diameter and 28" inches long. You just look at it and know its gonna rule.
After installation went to a Halfords branch and said I wanted to uprade my sub, with 2 of their guys to suggest the best upgrade, spent 3 hours testing their best and most expensive subs. Had my own decibel meter and test tracks consisting of 30 and 40 Hz tones. Their subs never stood a chance, while costing 4-5 times more than what I spent on mine. Unfortunately havent got the artsy pics on the phone, maybe later. My other stuff was an overpowered quadcopter made to be the fastest at my field, two flashlights with absolutely ridiculous outputs, of which one is UV, two CO2 guns Jericho 941 and Crosman 2240 that exceeded 850 fps, and other stuff like that.

Cars and guns. And I wish the pic was mine.
Bouldering, playing guitar, vidya, movies and cooking. Not much of a traveller due to health shit.
Hey guys, just started vlogging at abandoned places. I made my first video recently, and I am very proud of it. I see big things coming my way hopefully. Comment on the video what you guys think, I want honest critiques. And if you enjoy, hit the thumbs up, thank you

Nothing. I used to be very passionate about a lot of stuffs, now i'm not passionate about anything, i don't want anything. Photography is all that's left. It's not even a 'real' hobby, without instagram i wouldn't do this. I'm also friendless and virgin.

I can feel you. I felt the same for about 5 years, just recently started gardening again. It's pretty relaxing plus I realized that I love making macros.
Camping/outdoors also a fiend for war related PC games

That's cool and all, but wtf is a Walmart sculpture?
I bought my first camera because I wanted to take pictures of my figures and plamo with better image quality. Then I got hooked on photography in general. There's some synergy, but I'm taking a lot more pictures of other stuff than my toys.

I like abandoned places. I just skimmed through your video quickly but noticed the camera work was really shakey.
>>3141040
You sound depressing as fuck. Hit the gym and better yourself. You'll feel good mentally and physically. Then you'll get the pussy.
>>3140008
My other hobbies are drawing/painting and calligraphy, but they don't really synergise with photography, except I use my framing mat cutter for everything.
Can someone plz explain what a walmart sculpture is?
>>3141375
No. I'll probably just run and do pushups. I can't stand gyms, i don't want to make mistakes in using the equipments because i've never been there before. At least i can run when everyone's asleep, but i'll have to run when my body is still waking up.
>>3141481
I recommend bouldering if you live near a bouldering centre. It's indoor rock climbing but no ropes and really social.
>>3141535
>really social
that's what i avoid

Are you me? If you also do BJJ, Aikido and some mountaineering we must be clones.
>>3141598
Don't. But if you're dead set on being a loner - or wallowing in self pity if that's what you prefer - you can boulder all by yourself and not talk to anyone. Regardless of your approach, it's still a good pastime.
Before I was laid off a few months back I was huge in the gym, a regular shit posting /fit/izen, specializing in the bench press - which I got up to 345 lbs as a personal record.
Now I'm very poor and my hands hurt.
No regrets, however I'm losing muscle and gaining fat which is starting to annoy me.
>>3141760
Oh lol just realized it now, but IT doesn't matter desu. It's not like i would share that pic anywhere by now
>>3140008
Travel and photography are a marriage made in heaven. To get the best out of it though you need to have an interest in more than your own navel otherwise you just end up taking the same old shit that everyone else takes.
History, natural history, geography, geology and anything else that might be pertinent to the place your in all play their part in informing the photography.
>>3141262
This is an awful picture beside the fact it's a toy, look at all the shit in the background.
>>3141481
Dude you sound sad as fuck. Maybe you should consider therapy too? I just want you to do well anon.
>>3141596
wut
>>3141596
Now I'm even more confused.
- game programming/design
- art collecting
- watching art movies
- video games
>>3141777
Unfortunately no. I used to do Muay Thai, and have wanted to get into BJJ as I love groundwork but I just can't get past the tendency for BJJers to cover their gi in patches.
>>3142041
Idk anon, therapies will probably end up in them telling me to go outside more and talk to people more, which i am not ready for (yet). I'm still too comfortable with my loneliness and isolation
I do other kinds of shooting.
Photography is the secondary hobby for me
