First time I've heard of this guy, and looking at his stuff, it's fucking gross. I've always wondered, what's the point of images like this? They have a short lifespan because they're going to look dated as fuck in two years, you can't make prints with them because they only work as IG images, and they can't really be used as actual modeling shots either.

The use of light makes the photos very interesting, I think. It's refreshing, even portraits from professionals do look very boring and bland.

I just personally don't like the "instagram" look with the lifted blacks and colors that are modified to hell. Just my personal taste. And I also don't like scenes that are synthesized with photoshop. Not saying it's not technically good, just don't know what it's purpose is outside of IG
