Interested in getting into photography, what are your thoughts on point and shoot cameras? Near where I live I can get pic related for 50 bucks. Should I go that route, or find a cheap second-hand DSLR?

I've had a fuji S bridge camera like that
Was kind of shit, I've used a lot of point and shoots that were higher quality than that. But if 50$ is your budget and nothing else meets that, then go for it
