Not sure if this would fit into any other thread. Basically my friend is putting on a charity art sale and she wants a few of my photos (6 or so) to put in a frame and try to sell. Please help me select a few to sell. I'm not amazing by any means but it's for charity and I said I'd help out.
I also have no idea how much to charge for a print in a frame. It's for charity and the print plus frame will be roughly £8

Argh I won't have a model release so I guess I can't have any distinguishable faces which removes a few of these.
DSCF3305 tree here >>3125764, DSCF7779 ladder / wall painting picture here >>3125765, and this >>3125767.
These are the only pictures I'd even *try* to print and sell.
I guess you could also take P1090018 or P1280046 and hope someone likes that, but... eh.
Honestly, better just go to a part of town that offers a reasonable enough backdrop, mount a sharp bokewhoring lens, and ask a random not entirely commonly dressed person to smile / read a newspaper or some shit for charity and shoot a burst or two. Or do it yourself. It'll quite possibly sell better.

Thanks for the feedback.
I don't really understand what you mean by photographing a stranger... You mean take photos of a photo to sell or charge strangers a small fee to photograph them and send them the results?

That is an option on a charity event, sure.
But no, I was mostly thinking that you'd make a few new photos with actual somewhat interesting looking strangers or a somewhat interesting backdrop from your city / town.
You can make it an artsy bokewhore portrait of someone doing something very, uh, great like looking at, uh, some piece of trash on the street while smoking a pipe on a bench, a posed portrait with them holding a "thanks for contributing to chartity xy! 2017", or all sorts of other things.
Just make it a bit more interesting due to the persons or backgrounds involved, or a bit more of a feel-good-happy - kind of picture (Which is why I suggested DSCF7779 - isn't it nice when someone paints some art on a wall?)

I see what you mean. Good idea for sales but the art sale is going for a fairly serious affair and there will be paintings and other serious photos (by better photographers than I!).
Thanks for your input though. I appreciate it.
