I need a photo/video tripod recommendation for <$40.
I'm from europe so I'll probably have to pay some import fees on top of that and I don't use a tripod often so I'm not ready to spend more. I have a bridge camera, no heavy DSLR.
Was thinking about this

If the government didn't take the majority of my income, maybe it would be a DSLR. If I still had my GH3 you would complain about the sensor size.

you want a heavy-ish tripod anyway, the heads on the cheap lightweight ones are too fiddly and they tip over if you don't weigh them down

I know how limited they are but at local stores I have to pay minimum $30+ to get the cheapest $10 tripod with free shipping.
I need something for every once in while until I invest in a proper one.
You should be able to pick up one of those Joby Gorrila pods for $40, maybe one of the better versions used from some vlogger who gave up on youtube dreams.
Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but they're not the worst product.

Too short.

yeah I'm not saying go expensive, I'm just telling you I've used the lightweight cheapy tripods and they are more pain than they're worth -- so you should get something heavy and cheap. if you want the best bang for your buck I'd look at the used market desu
