Nikon D7100: Still worth it in 2017?
My full budget is 1000€, and the camera and lens cost 920€, leaving 80€ for the memory card and tripod.
Should I go for the D7200, 2 years younger but not much better, as well as being about 300€ more?

7200 refurb
Do you need megapixels? You can get a d90 for almost free.

The differences are here:

I'd surely prefer the D7200. Except that I actually prefer the A6300 or A6500 if not a FF camera. But your needs may obviously be different from mine.
Don't discount the 7D either.

dude don't buy a gimped nikon piece of shit
if you're going to go apsc DSLR get a pentax. if you're up for mirrorless, go for a fuji or sony

That budget gets an a7ii, you'd be a dumb to consider an old crop nikon instead.

Unless you want access to over 100 native and third party lenses you can use on a D7100.
inb4 but adapters!!

FFS don't get a Pentax. You'll have much better lens options with Nikon and the D7x00 series is faaar from gimped. There's not much at all that they don't do compared to the flagship stuff and they're a terrific value right now.

Where can you get a new a7ii and a lens for $1000? Your dreams perhaps?

D7200 is much better for sports since the D7100's raw buffer is inappropriately small. Both are great otherwise. Don't be afraid to buy refurbished.

>buying new camera gear

Used d7100 is like $500. Again, where do you get a7ii for that? Fucking retard sonygger.
I could get the Nikon D7100 (shutter count = 12.000)+ Sigma Prime 17-50mm f2.8 lense for 650€
Is it worth it as a beginner camera?

Sure man, go for it. It's a good kit. You can learn stuff about photography for example at cambridgeincolor website.

There are over one hundred lenses for e-mount too though.
