>Bought a camera
>Come to the realization that there's literally nothing of interest where I live to take snapshits of
Simply epic.
>>3108838
Think of what somebody who's never been to where you live, or somebody from the future, might find interesting.
Or take pictures of your friends.
Or hire models.
>>3108838
same, just take pics of objects

just take lots of pictures of your daily life, so you great grand kids can find them one day and enjoy them
>you shoot digishit
>you'll never have any kids
just sell your camera bro.
>>3108838
There's nothing of interest because you're not creative and/or patient enough to create good photos.
>really enjoy the process of taking pictures
>think actually looking at pictures including my own is boring as fuck.
>want to get into photography
>get digishit
its like you have a passion for failure.
>>3108838
what camera did you buy?
>>3108859
Pentax K-50
>>3108865
First of all Pentax, why don't you go outside and take some pics so we can evaluate it.
>>3108869
Too dark right now, best I can do is show a few images I've taken already.

>>3108908
And finally, this thing. I probably should crop it but eh.
I'm going to be investing in a Macro lens as well as a Samyang 16mm & a Samyang 85mm to compliment the 40mm pancake lens I'm using now.
Probably gonna sell my K-50 and buy a K-70 as well.
Still doesn't solve my problem for not having any interesting locations are this area to take pictures of, however.

Macro photography is gay what kind of person thinks macro photography is a good idea.
>>3108920
>macro lens is only for macro photography
this faggot.
>>3108920
Me.
If I were to get into landscapes, I'd want to travel to places that are actually interesting to shoot, and since I'm not made of money (can't even afford a full frame camera) that's simply out of the question.
I suppose I could try street photography but I always thought that lends itself more towards mirrorless cameras.
I want to do a few portraits but I can't really say I'm too passionate about that shit.
Macro seems to be the thing I'd enjoy most. When I get my new lenses I can give pretty much everything a try though.
>>3108924
you can also use that macro to scan your film when you decide to try real photography.
>>3108926
I'm not well versed enough in photography to even know what half the shit you guys are talking about means tbqhwy
>>3108924
Man you can take any fucking picture with any camera you clown. You don't need a certain type of camera to do anything. One trip to a thrift store and I'm set.

With portable lights, a model, or even a home studio you can take interesting pictures anywhere. Sounds like you need to git good.
I threw this together (from shooting to editing) in 12 minutes today because I was bored. Sadly it didn't kill much time lel.
If you spent an hour or so, you could have some fun with inanimate objects (inb4 you put them up your ass).

Macro is always waiting there.
I recently met Heikki Kaski, his work Tranquility was shot in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere USA.
You can go everywhere and shoot anything. If there is nothing of interest in your area then shoot nothing of interest. In the end it just has to be a good picture and suddenly you have an interesting picture.

Bullshit. It's creative eye. you can take great photographs of the most mundane crap.
>>3118015
Bullshit. You can't. All you can do as a photographer is frame. If there is nothing interesting to frame there is nothing you can do.
>>3115454
I didn't count staged photography because theoretically you could make sculptures and then photograph them but then you are not just a photographer but also a sculpturer.
>>3118055
>Bullshit. You can't. All you can do as a photographer is frame. If there is nothing interesting to frame there is nothing you can do.
and if there's nothing interesting to frame you're not looking hard enough or are devoid of coming up with any creative ideas
