Hi /p/ !
I'm more a Canon guy, but would like to know the logic behind the nikons...
I know that on EOS, the smallest, the better.
EOS 1, better than EOS 5, better than EOS 50, better than EOS 500, better than EOS 1000 , one friend told me the logic behind Nikon but I forgot. Can anyone tell me which SLR model is best/good/bad ? (Not DSLR)

less digits = better tier, just like canon, but within the lower digits, highest number = better camera

eg d3xxx < d5xxx < d7xxx
d6xx < d7xx < d8xx
d3 < d4 < d5

So basically, it's the same logic with Canon?
Any Nikon SLR will do that is not full auto. The best are F3, F100 if you need autofocus.

They are little sisters with apsc sensor of d1, d2 and d3 respectively, same goes with d500
