I would consider a Fujifilm X-T10 for that budget. At least if you don't want to use the camera for filming.

And if you don't need any lenses.
And you hate yourself.
OP asked for a camera. Not for lenses. And if additional costs are a big problem, there is plenty of old, but good manual glass around you can adapt to X mount for a low price.

>crop factor on ff lenses
>sharpness of old ff lenses on a sensor 2.3 times smaller/more demanding
>using adobe & fuji
Lol, you fuji guys are hilarious.

>crop factor on ff lenses
So what?
>>sharpness of old ff lenses on a sensor 2.3 times smaller/more demanding
Implications. There is nothing wrong with sharpness "per square inch" with many old lenses.
>>using adobe
WTF you're talking about?
>& fuji
Implications.
>Lol, you fuji guys are hilarious.
If you think it's okay to buy the same old shit from Canikon over and over again, or to pay 500 bucks extra for image stabillization at Sony's it's your decision.

> or to pay 500 bucks extra for image stabillization at Sony's it's your decision.
Eh, the Fuji is $100 new now?
Because the A6000 kit lens(es) and others have stabilization. You seem to be confusing this with IBIS which Fuji AFAIK doesn't have on any camera.

>why care about crop factor
Well, I guess it's fine if you only planned on having normal/tele focal lengths.
>demanding sensor
Not even modern lenses out resolve modern ff 24mp sensors, the smaller the sensor, the better the glass needs to be to compete, with ff being 2.3 times the area of crop your images are inherently 2.3 times less sharp. This is what gives ff/mf images their pop and clarity.
>adobe
Gives results softer than a nuns tit compared to iridient developer, a one man company. Adobe raw processing just doesn't handle the fuji raw file format well.

Also the a7ii with ff and ibis is cheaper than the xpro2 and xt2.

> Not even modern lenses out resolve modern ff 24mp sensor
FYI, quite many recent FF primes do, though they aren't within a $600 budget.
Of course not in the impossible sense of lenses enabling you to get more than 24MP on a 24MP sensor. But they are capable of delivering well above 24MP on a 42MP or 50MP sensor by objective enough test metrics, such as DxO's sharpness rating.
I have an Olympus em10 (not even mk2) and I'm quite happy with it. It does just about everything I want and it's nice and small and I can always have it with me
The mk2 has even more quality of life improvements as well better specs, so that's my suggestion

A camera in OPs budget has no 42 or 50 MP sensor.
>>3097024
No shit? I already pointed out it would be too expensive even just to get the lenses. Of course the budget doesn't allow for a "modern ff 24mp sensor" either.
The argument was just not quite correct as such.
