Gotta get something interesting if it's just 3.
1. Sagelux 35mm f/0.69
2. Sagecron 14-88mm f/4.20 aspherical
3. Super Multi Coated Sagelar-M 9001mm f/0.04
The holy trinity obviously.
14-24mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm

Right now rocking DA 16-45, Tammy 70-200, Sigma 50-500 and HD 1.4X TC

Probably the Fuji GFX and its 3 lenses, senpai.
>>3095273
teleconverters are def lenses, or did they not have glass in them?
>>3095290
>autists fight about stupid answers to stupid questions
>>3095290
More like diopter corrections. Viewfinder has glass in them, but do you say your body only camera comes with a lens?
14-24 wide angle
35 or 50 walkaround
70-200 2.8 telezoom
Of course, two of those lenses are way outside my budget range
~18mm, 35(or 40)mm, 85mm
>>3095232
This is correct. I must ask, who would you choose to make the glass for these?
>>3095366
The only respectable lens company, Sigma.
>>3095162
24-70(18-55), 70-200 and a fast prime 50 1.2 or 85 1.4.
Nikon 13mm f/5.6
Carl Zeiss 50mm Planar f/0.7
Some other rediculous lens you could google, maybe one of the 1200mm+ canon's that people drool over.
For real though?
A 50mm equiv
a 75-300 filming lens
a 35 equiv
>>3095371
>The only respectable lens company
>Sigma.
Not Nikon - who literally specialise in medical optics, or Zeiss who have the most prestigious history in lense making.
>>3095381
Sigma is the most family friendly company.

75-300 same
And the 24mm pancake for general walking around snapping random shit.

m4/3 shooter here, and just choosing from lenses i own:
Panasonic Leica 15mm f1.7
Panasonic 42.5mm f1.7
Olympus 14-150mm f4-5.6
sacrificed a 25mm (the m4/3 equivalent of a "nifty fifty") for a very fun wide angle lens, a workhorse 85mm equivalent prime as I usually like to shoot longer focal lengths, and a weather-sealed 10x optical zoom lens for the versatility
and though i haven't used it, the Panasonic Leica 42.5mm f1.2 is considered an amazing lens by virtually all accounts, so that would easily make most people's lists
>>3095303
Lol I have all 3 of these except the 70-200 is f4. I bought the zoom lenses used and saved about $800 between both while getting pristine lenses.
-24-105mm f/4
-50 f/1.4
-300mm f/4
that's all I use anyway, I have others but those are, for some reason, the most used
Probably 16/18, 24 and 35/40. Cinefag here
50mm, 80mm, 150mm
Lux 50 ASPH
Some 70-200
Some 24-70 or a tri-Elmar

Maybe a 28 over a 35
my ideal setup
28, 58, and 70-200
on my aps-c DSLR I actually own a 20-40 and 50-135 which about covers that same range
>3 lenses for the rest of your life
Helios 44M-2 58mm f/2. Very nice lens from good old russia (after they stole the plans from the Germans after WW2) for portraits and for objects (as the central element of the picture). Can be used with some extension tubes making a very cool macro lens for outdoor usage. Effectively 83mm due to crop on APS-C, but the lens can be used on full frame too. The lenses are made just of metal and glass, they are rock stable, you may be able to beat a muslim to death with it, maybe two of them. They can be even opened for cleaning and re-greasing relatively easily. The bokeh and the nice lens flares you can get with this lens are just pure gold.
Fuji 23mm f/2 WR. That would be my always on lens. Compact, robust, feels good. According to the crop factor of 1.5 on APS-C the classic journalists focal length of about 35mm. I prefer this over the often propagated 50mm for a standard lens.
Samyang 12mm f/2. Sharp as fuck and even cheaper. Manual wide angle at 18mm (APS-C crop), no significant distortions, no significant shading in the corners. The lens can focus at close distances, making it usable for macro too. And i even like the bokeh when stopped down.
That would be my choices. And i would prefer to put them on a camera made by Fuji.

35mm, 58mm, 135mm
Everything else is pretty meme or redundant.
35 for that wide, 58 for that short tele/portrait, and 135 for the regular tele/portrait/macro with e tubes.

Voigtlander 25mm 0.95

wasn't that bazooka made for japanese baseball tournament or something trivial like that, sounds nice cover-up story atleast
>>3100997
35mm, in my opinion.
It's a good compromise between giving a natural sense of perspective and getting a decent amount in the frame at closeish range.
35mm
85mm
200mm
Fuji and I only have the 27mm (40 mm FF equivalent)
What should I get next? I do Street photography, architecture, snapshots of friends and family and the occasional landscape.
>>3101811
40mm is a general-purpose lens, and you're listing general-purpose subjects. Stick with what you have for a while.
I could imagine you eventually going wider if you do a lot of street and architecture, if the 40mm is too narrow for you.
Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 OM-system ('74 model, mildly radioactive)
Jupiter-3 50mm f/1.5 LTM (because it's a fucking slut and a whore and I love its every flaw)
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G ('nuff said)
But seriously, three is far too few. It's so few that they're all fifties.
>>3101827
Sounds sensible. I'm finding myself wanting a bit wider for buildings. Would getting the 18-55mm (27-80mm equiv) make sense? I'm just a beginner so I'm more than likely going to just stick to what I have but it's good to know what my options are.
