so /p/ i think i took one of my favorite pictures yet. I'm still learning photoshop and obviously there could be some modifications added to this photo.
Could anyone suggest what to modify or help me make the picture even better?
Thanks

oh and this is the photo modified in the instagram app. I know insta for image modifications is shite but i just wanted to see how it would look.
I've shot the exactly same tree. How's going your stay in Banff?
Do you have any idea about what do you want in your photos? Maybe watch some Lightroom tutorials on youtube, it could help you

frame right is awful, that tall tree that's cut off halfway
the building that's in frame detracts from the message
you could add more empty space to the right to balance out the weight of the mountain peak, or you could try and further accentuate the activity of the diagonal line, maybe by flattening perspective with a longer lens and/or excluding the foreground

Thanks for the advice but i was looking for ways to modify this specific picture on ps or lr.
I'm not in Banff anymore so there is no way to take a different better one.
I think Mount Rundle has been shot to death
though it has better angles where you don't see the village in the foreground, though those spots have been used 100million times by more skilled photographers (note not better photographers because better photographers go deeper into the park for better shots).
honestly if you want a shot of Rundle, just buy one at Whyte Museum or get an over saturated HDR at that tacky gallery on Banff Ave before the bridge

you could also crop the left side further to emphasize the geometry, like partway through that first tree trunk you see on the left. maybe a black and white treatment would be best, keeping the trees fairly dark and accentuating the contrast on the mountain (using a lot of the red channel?) that blown-out section on the right kinda sucks though
tried my best
