I am planning to do some urban exploring soon, I know some cool places near me. Any experience/tips or recommendations for motives and stuff?

Don't take pics of your fat friends backs while they're walking in an ooen windowed hallway
Same...Where to find in London, UK :(

Urbex works better in the US because all buildings here are built to fall apart.

presumptuous

Soon in Dubai, should be the same.

I'm not saying urbex doesn't work anywhere else, it's just that if you want easy access to decrepit buildings, the US is practically the world capital of garbage construction.
>>3093141
But it's not, USA-centric I-think-the-place-I-live-in-is-the-most-X-Y-Z-cos'-I-never-saw-anywhere-else anon.
>>3093191
Just fuck off already. Nobody here likes you or thinks your childish arguments are clever.
>tfw you live in the most successful state in the US so everything is bought and renovated as soon as it's on the market
No urbex, no STALKING, rent sucks.
>>3093305
Used to live in a very fast growing city. Not a single abandoned building to be found. As soon a business closed, another one popped up.
>>3093245
Aww did someone's feefees get booboo'd?
Urbex photography is one of the biggest memes around. Just don't take shitty photos.
>>3092684
>all buildings here are built to fall apart
The most interesting urbex photos I've seen have been from Europe. Buildings here were built to last. When abandoned and forgottten about they can slowly decay into some pretty wierd time capsules.
A thirty year old factory with a fallen in roof and some grafitti can be found anywhere.
>>3093191
And you were the one calling me presumptuous. In all honesty I just wanted to make a jab at the US, I wasn't expecting the argument to come from someone saying that they've been to shittier places.
>>3093329
ironic from the guy that left discord because people were mean to him
>>3093347
thanks for confirming you only posted here to drag out drama from elsewhere. I was banned, you retard, I didn't leave pee by choice.
>>3093345
Sorry, I guess. Jabs work both ways.
>>3093348
>Jabs work both ways.
You got me there, all's fair in fun and games.
>>3093348
I'm the admin of the pee discord. No one is banned except for Harley, and he's back on a second account anyway.
Stop telling lies for sympathy you sad fag. Lmao.
Be sure to bring a mask in case you run into nasty stuff like mold. Urbex isn't worth breathing that sort of shit
>>3093378
Not to mention that there's a good chance that there's things such as asbestos and powdered lead paint in the dust that coats the floors of a lot of old abandoned buildings; especially so with things like industrial plants or stairwells where you have exposed insulation on pipes or beams.
>>3093383
I mean the former Eastern Bloc is filled with a lot of old decrepit Soviet apartments and factories. No idea why you would be proud of that though.
>>3093305
That's how SoCal feels, space is at a premium so as soon as something goes down it's replaced :(
>>3093384
I'd really like to hit up some of those old factories, the idea of communism falling and them just being left behind is really awesome. Probably make for some great shots too
>>3093388
>the idea of communism falling and them just being left behind is really awesome.
>the idea of communism falling... is really awesome.
die you bourgie counterrevolutionary pig
>>3093393
but if communism who makes cameras/4chan?

Well I do this as a hobby. I can give some pointers.
1) Do not wear shorts, wear long sleeves
2) Carry at least two flashlights per person with some spare battery's
3) Tell at least two people where you are going.
4) Go with other people, in groups on bigger than 4
5) Look up your route/location before heading there
6) Locate all exits in the event of a emergency
7) A mask and some decent gloves would not hurt
8) Also bringing some water and snack bars can help fend off hunger and might help with getting homeless people off your back.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask !
