Is the Fujifilm x100F worth the money? Thinking between a sigma Quattro or a x100f.
The x100 is pretty up there in price so I figure why not just spend more for the 24mp sensor upgrade, or maybe get a foveon system.
Bayer sensor cucks need not apply, see pic related for why.

I will never forget the time I responded to a comment on one of Jason's YT vids about the fact that he looked too dark (not well it enough), and he thought I was commenting on his weight or something.
How do I get bad like this at photography? I'm not good but I really want to suck and fail miserably like Jason does.

How the fuck does he do it? How does he land those 60k payout trustfund weddings? How does he run a successful youtube channel
I'm thinking there's something about his bluntness and unlikable personality that combine to make him seem very open and trustworthy? Am I completely crazy?

>implying xtrans is any different to bayer
Lol, no, it's the same sony sensor, but instead of evenly distributing the color filter in the most efficient way, fuji decided to clump together the green bits.
The end result for the consumer is no better color, and photos that can't be edited in any of the 3 popular software packages without weird wormy artifacts.
Also, fuji has discontinued some of the x100 range as of today, and they have nothing on their roadmap except in medium format, which they stuck to bayer filter.
Foveon is fantastic if you can afford it, and have a second bayer body for going over iso 400.

Failed his way to millionaire, where do I sign up?
Is it just me, or is Jason Lanier a bit of a creep -- like in some of the tutorial videos he posts, he is clearly hitting on the models - and he's got that f***ing fedora thing going on.

It isn't hard to crop out those stupid watermarks, if I cared enough I could also photoshop them out.
Two watermarks on a photo implies he's just some faggot that thinks so highly of himself he'd put distracting watermarks on two corners of an image. Who the hell would want to steal this garbage, it's something I used to do when I just started, smudged the entire fucking picture with a maxed out clarity/contrast brush. It's disgusting and it somewhat triggers me

>Become a Sony shill with your platform
>Brandish your picture with two watermarks because your trademark is more valuable than the crap you produce.

>posted incessantly on 4chan, his name is now common knowledge around here and has probably fed traffic to his website and youtube page.
Yeh, you sure showed him about the value of watermarks.
>>3063108
That you Jason?
I never seen anyone praise his work on 4chan, it's more common the opposite happens.
It's not jealousy, there are plenty of photographers with far more notoriety than him that never get bashed as often.
His editing makes everyone look like they're Jersey Shore and the clarity just helps shows all those wonderful imperfections in someone's face. Why are they so orange?
>>3063109
No one mentioned jealousy, stop projecting.
And thanks for driving traffic and raising awareness of my photos, it's what really matters, let's face it, none of you can afford me to shoot for you, this is the best you could do. I never claimed the people that pay my bills have taste, just big fuckin' wads of cash.
>>3063109
>It's not jealousy
I'm pretty sure it is. Especially the angry fatographer is mad at him for betraying Nikon, and he posts here often shilling for himself so it makes sense he would add to the shitposting.
They also had a series of video reply arguments.

>Is the Fujifilm x100F worth the money?
Depending on your needs, yes.
>>3063111
Couldn't give less of a shit about a camera's brand, just the personality that's behind it.
I stopped watching his videos a while back, used to like him, now it's just indifference.
What it comes down to is do you have other cameras / lenses and how much you personally feel you can do with a 35mm lens.
Now personally as someone with a 5D IV + a lot of big heavy lenses. I feel the x100F (way back from when I had the 5D mark iii and the og x100) is all I need as a travel / my life camera.
Sometimes for landscapes you may want to go a little wider, I'm happy to make pano's in that case and maybe invest in the 50mm for when you want to do tight portraits other than that it can cover all my needs.
>>3063084
Apart from being soft at wide open and min focus, what's bad about it
>>3063405
Nothing, he just has no discovered stopping down yet or why people like soft wide open optics for portraits
I don't want it sharper at f2 lol
>>3063405
Dunno about the F, but the original never got sharp. Ever.
Worse than the 18mm somehow.
>>3063450
I think you just don't know how to use a camera. There's a wealth of evidence of it being quite sharp from 2.8-11
Sounds like you're a moron with motion blur
>>3063450
The original x100 didn't have an xtrans sensor among other things
