What annoys me the most is that the color temperature changes when scrolling along the thread. The first 4 shots are too warm and also some in between, i.e. the stairs.

Do it right. Don't go for that over-saturated look. Google HDR and look for the more subtle HDR's in my opinion they give the best outcome.

Don't do classical HDR. I'm blending several exposures with luminosity masks using smart objects for the different exposures to also tweak raw settings after blending. Sometimes I also work on a single exposure with different raw settings. I can give a closer look on the weekend if you are still interested

Don't take this too serious. This may remind you of only a few experiences that you've made or that you've seen. Just as some photographers are sick with flash work, while available light photographers will sometimes experience artificial lighting.
Honestly, I find photography quite stupid, if instead you can have a great time! I love photography when I'm on the road with photographers or when I explore new things. I wouldn't discover a trip with family or friends not until I'm at home on the computer.

These are quite pleasant in the texture/light department and show off the architecture nicely. The kind of shots I can see in a brochure. But none of them pique my curiosity or have a raison d'etre. They don't tell a story or convey an idea or do anything unique.

I see, thanks! Even if it was only for practice, I'm already satisfied. Indeed I shot without any demand. I find it difficult to connect architecture and story, for me therefore story sounds more like knockout argument. You'd see more story on topic or people shoots, but probably not without context.
