Depends on your preference - SLR vs. rangefinder styled.
Pro because the names sais it: it's for professionals

Nah, I think if I go for a ILC X series I'll just go for the top models
Otherwise I'd just get a x100f for fun and portability
I have had both.
As a left eye dominant person, I find the XPRO2 more ergonomic.
However, as a professional, the features of the XT2, such as boost mode, portrait / battery grip, 4k video, tilty screen, tethering etc make the XT2 far more useful. I returned my XPRO2, kept my XPRO1 for personal use, and keep the XT2 for work. XT1 is my backup.
Oh, and fuck Sony.

How's the AF on the Pro1 compared to the XT1?
I have the XT1 as my main work cam, I decided to skip on the XT2 but was thinking about picking up the Pro2 for travel/street.. But the Pro1's are so cheap now.. I have heard the AF is awful though.

reminder that you can still add a hotshoe ovf to the xt2

it's the same fag, shilling.
I'm an ex-pro so I use an X-Pro.
The XT2 is probably the better camera for most people, but I went with the Pro2 because the OVF is fun and I like having a form factor that's so different from the SLRs/DSLRs I've been lugging around for the last almost 20 years.
