It's an alright camera. I made do with one for a while. Not the highest end camera, but nothing wrong with it either.. Be a good photographer and it will be a good camera.

If it's in good shape that's not too bad, especially since it comes with an extra battery. If you wait around on eBay you'll definitely find one cheaper, but that could be tomorrow or a few months. Up to you.
