not necessarily cliche, but "catholic imagery" is a pretty broad area for a series. do you mean to emulate a particular period/style of imagery/posture as in OP? are you portraying different martyrs or biblical scenes? or do you just want to incorporate catholic symbols in your photos in some way?

Yeah. martyrs but in a context of current day martyrs (in a sense), using poses and modern props that would vaguely remind of images like OP. but in a more natural way, not in the pop art/advertising aesthetic with bright colors way you see a lot.
