What is a good camera for a newfag photographer? I want to take pictures mainly of my car, scenery and my girlfriend. Occasionally videos too. I'm not looking for anything Universal Studios tier but I'm not looking for trash either.

Ideally, I don't want to spend more than $250-300. I was looking at the Nikon p900 but those cost a pretty penny.

Pentax k1000
D3300 if you want a little more performance.

DSLR start around 400 bucks seriously, with kit lens anyways.

How good is this bad boy compared to the b700?

They are both around $350 - what are the pros and cons of both if you don't mind me asking?

Yes but it's awful in even remotely low lighting. I have the 7 plus. It's only decent when you are completely outside or have prep lighting setup.

Plenty OK. Pretty much identical to the new D3400 released last year.

>beter iso performance than other brands budget models

The point of a DSLR is changing lenses, if you're not interested in that I would look into a good compact model.

Pentax K-50 is a better camera than the D3300 and it should be priced similarly
