I kind of like the idea but I'm not sure whether its that much more effective or not. After using Lightroom for a few years with mouse and keyboard I've gotten used to it...
What do you guys think about this?
Would you use it or is this just a gimmick?

We've had this thread before, and it really boiled down to "It's a cool gimmick, but is impractical for all but the most autistic power users who need fractions of a second shaved off".
Do they mean "detented rotation"?

It's like having click stops on an aperture ring vs. smooth turning.

It's a good concept, but for four HUNDRED dollars, I would rather buy a $99 midi controller, a bunch of color coded labels, Midi2LR, and a brand new Samyang 1.2 lens.
>>3023340
Yeah, those are known as "detents".
>>3023344
I assumed you were stupid, not autistic. My mistake.
>>3023355
Never make that mistake again, my friend.
I would be wary of buying a 400 piece of equipment when they can't even spell the features right.
>>3023361
As I say, anyone who chooses this over a regular MIDI controller deserves to lose the $300 they flushed down the toilet.
>>3023363
I don't think anyone really disagreed with you on that.

Life isn't all about arguments friend.
I'm pretty sure you make that somewhat easily. It may not turn out as elegant but if you put enough work in I bet you could come close. Definitely not worth 400 bucks.

Considering that they don't know that it's "matte" and not "matt", I'm pretty sure they also don't know that detent is a word either. Really puts confidence in the product, doesn't it?

Useless, you may as well buy a MIDI keyboard if all you care about is knobs and sliders
