KaiW has never been an incredible street photographer, but you can see him being out there, getting awkward looks, yelled at, it's entertaining, and he never claimed to be a pro anyway.

Jared Poland is so much up his own arse, I was expecting at least something neutral, presentable. And even then, he could have defended himself by saying he went all goofy not to influence the viewers, since the point was to give everyone a shot at editing this raw file. But no, he went all in.

What I'd like to know is why people can even turn a profit selling "RAW" shirts? Like how is shooting in a format elitist? I thought shooting in raw was the thing to do unless you're some sports or action photographer?

Not the anon, but for me I think being good means is you can have some idea what is needed for a good photo. Whether it's the right angle to capture good reflection from sun's light on a flower, or on a landscape, framing the shot in your mind, being able to capture as much information with your digital tool without having to go thru many different combination of settings until you start getting right results in camera (this can be challenging if you have to fiddle with ISO, especially with cameras where Auto-ISO doesn't work well in manual mode, for specific shutter or aperture choices).
