I'm trying to use the EVF on my OMD EM-5, and I just can't focus it at all with either eye, it all looks blurry. The image is fine on the display screen when I toggle to that.
Are my eyes fucked?

Do you wear glasses? EVF's usually have a diopter adjustment.
Try adjusting the diopter next to the viewfinder

I have problems with all EVF, that only focused where my eye is pointing.
The other problem with EVF is that your eye doesn't focus at the distance of what you're shooting, and thus you can't shoot both eyes open.

You have an eye that isn't looking through the camera lens, yes.
Also happens with the OVF on a SLR camera.
Look in the manual, adjust the viewfinder diopter. Use the QTDDTOT thread.

It is not really bothering when I'm at 50mm equivalent to 30mm equivalent. Wider that that becomes uncanny because I can see much wider in the OVF.
EVF is like looking at a screen at less than an arm's length and can't really use it like my OVF.
OVF for lyfe bitch!
