It's difficult to choose one, because I'm a massive gearfag.
But the Sigma Art 30mm is awesome on film.
Actually looks unique, and nice.

Paid like 40 eurobucks. Now I use it like a normal lens on my F3. Going to replace it with a 2.8 when I have the money.
>>3016040
At this point I would rather buy something else if you're so short on money: that lens is damn nice already and you'll basically never use it at less than f/8, the f/2.8 will give you no advantage, it's just a duplicate in your case.
Great for wide open close ups with nice perspective on film and full frame as the perfect normal lens on apsc to fuck around down in the city.
>>3016754
Pretty much the same taste.
Pretty much a tie between my DA 35/2.4 and the Tamron 70-200/2.8
35/2.4 because the most versatile, light and easy to use on travel, 70-200 because phenomenal portraits, good narrow field landscapes and capable of light wildlife as well
No pics because unlike the majority of /p/ I don't like to take photos of my gear.
Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2
My favourite prime.

Mine. Can't fault it at all.
On my PEN F the autofocus is lightning fast.

Nikkor 50mm 1.8D
Cheap, good quality, has its own look to its photos, great to use in manual

you really got one of them fancy GR21 things? got any photos you've taken with it that you can post? i'd love to see em.
>>3017020
im actually at sea at the moment, offshore. i dont carry anything like that on me out here. when i return to land im sure i can find some for you in 3 weeks time.
>>3017026
i'm always interested to see "normal" people's work with iconic cameras like the GR21; cameras like that, they're so revered and desireable that beaucoup photogs have made fantastic work with em & as a result when you look for examples of photos taken with the GR21 it's hard to find "normal" pictures that aren't just selections of the best of the best.
what you doing at sea? taking deep sea octopus pictures from the window of youre submarine?

Rikenon 50mm f2
Does anyone else own a macro lens? Got it as part of Nikon portrait package with $100 cut off in giftcards.

I'm a poorfag and this is most likely the only L lens I'll be able to afford in my entire lifetime. I hope I didn't make a huge mistake.

You could pick a 70-200 or a 50 if you're into primes.
>>3017240
i own a MP-E 65 but i dont use it that much i might sell it on ebay soon along with the MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite Flash.
>>3017256

It depends on whether you are taking pictures or not.
I assume you are into portaits anon? Can you show us your work?
>>3017240
My next lens will be a macro lens. I've had them before when I used film. They're great things to have.
I think my favorite lens at the moment is my ancient vivitar 55/2.8 1:1 macro. It's reasonably sharp and it has crazy flare that can be used to an advantage.
cannon 35 mm f2 vs. cannon 50mm f1.4 sigma 35mm f1.4 art vs sigma 50mm f1.4?
>>3017256
focuses slower than the 1.8 version and a 70-200 would give you a shallower depth of field
good for epeen though
>>3019698
Why are you even looking at these lenses when you can't spell Canon?
Canon 34mm f2 IS and Sigma 50/1.4, but honestly any other 50/1.4 is also fine.
New fav. Life couldn't be more wide and luminous than this :^)

85 1.8 D
its fucking magic for its price
>>3015784
Wait, that works on Canon EOS SLRs?
>>3021975
of course it does, any eos ef lens works on eos film cameras.
>>3019665
I have one and love it
>>3021998
Well it's designed for crop digi, so it's a reasonable question.
>>3021975
Yes, it works fine, just gets a little smeary towards the edges, but even the far corners are acceptable by f/11.
It's just a plain EF mount, not EF-S, so it doesn't protrude into the mirror box.
The EF-S 10-22 works on full frame too, but you have to pull off the EF-S plastic baffle on the end of the lense. Full frame coverage from 13mm onwards.
Pic related.

>>3022451
It shouldn't really be that hard: put it at a $1 auction and it'll get at its used price by the end of the day.
heres mine
its kind of a bitch getting it on the tripod but this motherfucker takes some killer upskirt shots
