Yeah, I had a guy grab and detain me until the cops showed up because I took a snap of him on the street. Pretty sure he was drunk.
It wasn't very interesting. He was holding on to my left arm and I had the camera in the other hand, so I couldn't take a swing at him. His other hand was holding his dog's leash, so he couldn't take a swing at me. Hah.
I tried to get the cops to charge him with illegally detaining me but they told me to fuck off.

I got one for you. One time i was doing some car spotting with my friend in downtown Montreal when we saw pic related.

While we were walking to the car we saw some dude who was clearly drunk or drugged speaking loudly to himself, he was on the other side of the street so we didn't care about it. So we start taking pics of the car and then my friend saw the fucker coming to us, screaming about stuff that had no relation at all with what we were doing(like how we were photographing is family.)

He followed us until we got to St-Catherine street, we turned right while he continued. He even screamed and pointed his finger to fucking bikers.

I saw my lot of weirdos/fucked up people in downtown MTL, but it was the first time one of them verbally attacked me. After this, my friend said he should ''had sucker punched this fucker.''

when i was 18, i went on a family trip to vegas. Around 2am I went out to take some pictures on the strip, just for fun. Took some pictures in casinos, colors, etc. I walk out of this one casino, and I hear this guy yelling "HEY YOU!". I assumed it wasn't for me and kept walking, since I wasn't doing anything. I hear the voice again and look back, it's some giant nordic dude coming out of the revolving door, headed straight for me. Grabs me by the neck in a headlock, being real friendly. This dude's like 30 years old and as I found out later, was also in the marines.

The guy's huge compared to me, 18 y/o skinny korean kid, and I cant get out of his headlock. Starts calling me dickhead, and asks me why i wont be his friend. This dude was ridiculously drunk, and apparently had just been kicked out of one of the clubs.

He tells me to take pictures of him on the strip, since I'm a 'street photographer'. I comply, because whenever i tried to leave he would get me in a headlock and straight up give me a nuggie. I don't want him to follow me back to my hotel room, which i was sharing with my parents, so I took some photos of the guy.

He ended up molesting women on the strip, yelling at people, getting in fights with people, all while asking me if he was doing a good enough job. I was like "I dont think you should be doing this" and he would respond with "THIS IS WHAT YOU ASKED ME TO DO!".
