How do you get over people acting weird when they see you with a camera. Any tips
Most people will tell you to carry around a smaller camera and be more discreet. I say do the opposite. Walk around with the biggest lens you've got, strap on as many useless accessories as you can. And just pretend like you know exactly what you're doing. People would be less likely to question you if they think you're a professional photojournalist or something as opposed to some random amateur taking photos for God knows what reason. Also print out some photography related business cards. if they get suspicious, just hand them a business card and it's free advertisement for your Instagram or whatever.

Sounds like a good idea honestly. Thanks

Why would they get suspicious?? What are you guys doing with your cameras?
My advice, don't worry about other people, just go out and shoot whatever you want. All they can do is just look at your weird and you'll be on your way.
As for the business card idea, that's just a good thing to have in general. But I think it would seem more odd to approach people supposedly looking at you in a strange way and hand them a card.
tl;dr, just shoot
Quit being a pussy, go out there, and get the shots like a fuckin savage
Someone doesn't wanna be photographed? Boo hoo, they should've stayed inside. You get photographed every day by your government , what's a few more times by a near destitute loser with nothing else to do in life?

Depends on where you're shooting really. If you live in a big city or a tourist trap, people tend to not give a shit because people with cameras are everywhere. If you're shooting in a relatively small town, it sets off more red flags to people.
Be low-key, keep the camera confidently in hand. Don't stare either, always be scanning for a shot.
You just get over it. I had to ask random strangers if I could take their pictures for a project. There was a lot of rejections, but I kept asking other people. Same way with people seeing you with a camera, they just have to get over it.

>just go out and shoot whatever you want
I was shooting a hummingbird who was feeding at a flower which was in front of this woman's house.
She came outside and told me to take a hike because she thought I was trying to take pics of her through her window.
