Maybe he's new to the camera, not everyone knows what a ND filter looks like when it's halfway through the slot, fuck off. But hey, I might just be trying to defend him because I had to deal with this same problem 2 weeks ago and I thought I fucked my camera for good.

I have never so much as intentionally entered the video modes on my cameras and I knew this.

You're right, Im sorry. Actually the reason I knew this is because I was shooting with a C100mkii this weekend and specifically remember noting it was an odd movement for the ND filter. Sorry, didnt mean to be an ass, comments like mine are the reason this board is bad to ask advice.
