Saw 5 Great Horned Owls at once about 4 years ago, and got shots of 3 of them before they took off. Found about 10 Snowy Owls over the years, and two Short Eared. Saw a Barn Owl, but didn't get a shot. This is the only Barred Owl I've seen yet, in 15 years of looking.

You seem glued to ISO 100. You could easily go to 400 or 800. Noise may degrade your image a bit, but if it's blurry, it's just ruined altogether.
Motion blur is fine when it emphasizes action... I use it a lot. But when the whole frame is blurry from camera shake, or it is caused by mundane subject motion, it is bad.
