In general I'm not sure if I like Bloom or not. One the one hand, he clearly loves what he does and some of his videos are great resources. On the other hand, he promotes (if only passively) self-obsessed gear-faggotry which is one of the worst things happening to the industry at the moment.

He's a giant faggot, the only thing he does is repeat the same tired phrases about whatever technical feature gearfags care about at a given time (bokeh>framerate>film look>4k>raw>log), before ending the article/review with a paragraph about how it all doesn't matter because art/creativity/go out and shoot

I'd like him more if he didn't spend half his review complaining about his back
