I know this is probably taboo to ask on /p/, but if /p/ HAD to use a phone to take pictures, which phone would it be?

The one you have with you
VSCO now does raw so probably anything but all tests show that apple os is much faster and smoother. so either iphone 6s plus or google pixel
>>2986793
>not the 7 plus with two lenses
Also vsco is total trash.
>>2986793
Is the Pixel really worth it tho
The rest of the hardware specs are subpar for the price and iPhone 7 takes better pics in low light
>>2986798
If you are buying a phone with camera as a priority in decision making then yes. not sure if there are tests on raw anyway so I would personally get iPhone, they're just so good. Only apple product I own so it's more like iPhone praise rather than Apple praise.

Two lens is a meme fuck off back to /g/. You'd probably like two dicks instead of one kek. You could use procam and import into snapseed but really vsco is fine great for quick edits

You wouldn't have two dicks if given the opportunity?

7plus, Google Pixel and moto snap with hasselblad attachment.
>>2986829
>moto snap with hasselblad attachment.
I've heard mixed reviews on that
>>2986822
Insecure and salty as fuck.
Triggered right in the pussy lmao
>>2986784
Whatever phone you own.
>>2986844
They make the only phone ever with a real camera. CM1 has a 2.8 lens on a 1" sensor, specs which obliterate anything any other phone has done, gimmick or no gimmick.
>>2986784
Pixel or V20
V20 probably has bootloop problems but the dual camera, DAC and manual controls are not paired by anything in the market atm.
Pixel has good stabilisation and i wanna do video.
>>2986831
Really only good for zoom otherwise it's trash from what I heard
Nokia 808
To this day, the most fun I've had with a phone camera.

Back in the day I bought the lumia 925 because of the camera. it was a truly remarkable thing, kicked all other phone cameras asses that I compared it with. And please note, compared at when it was released. Sadly I broke the screen and it got wet because I work at sea. Now I have a fairphone. It sucks balls on all levels. Everything in it is crap, including the camera....
>>2986784
Any phone with a camera on it.
Even the "best" phone cameras are worse or equal to a good point and shoot.
What's the FASTEST phone camera? My phone takes 5 seconds from flicking the screen on to shooting a photo.
p much any answer that isn't the lg v20 is a wrong answer imo
>>2989258
dayum got any more pics
>>2989306
I still have my lumia 925, it was good when it first came out but I wouldn't say it is as good as you described. The IQ got quite soft over time, I doubt they used sapphire glass on the front element. Using an iphone SE atm, pretty good but I miss the camera button
I have a LG G5 and i have to say, the camera on it is pretty good, plus it got a wide angle too that can be very useful.
So far i've loved using it.
Google Pixel
Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge
iPhone 7+
Top three, in that order. I have the Galaxy S7, and I'm extremely impressed with the image quality, especially in low light.
I have a nexus 6 and the camera is quite nice. No good photos on it at the moment, but the focus is somewhat adjustable with decent depth, the photos are very clear, And it does very well in low lighting. (Pic related with minimal adjustments) the colours pop very nicely, for a phone camera

how did u take this picture is it mounted on a drone?

The one I have with me.
All phone cameras are equally shit.

Friend of mine lives on the 21st floor
The area was quite dark in real life, but the Nexus does a very good job for night time photos as far as phones go.

More importantly, any android programs that let me set exposure, focus, etc manually and let me use RAWs?

I bought a iPhone 6s+. I have been pretty happy with it. I take way more pics with it than I did with my dslr.

How the fuck is having two lenses "known to fuck up photos"?
If you walk with your camera and two lenses in the bag your photos are automatically fucked up?
kys
I've got a 7 Plus, finding the second lens really useful.
Does anybody think it could be hypothetically possible to fit a properly-sized sensor (maybe like 4/3 rather than FF) in a phone somehow?

Didn't realise this existed.
I would probably get one if it ran iOS. I don't really mind a massively protruding camera if your phone is pretty much a fully-fledged P&S.
