Is the screen any good is the most important factor, as a minimum it should hit 99% srgb.

I had an XPS laptop for 8 years before it finally died. Used it for gaming, photo editing, and architecture stuff (3d modeling, rendering, illustrator/InDesign). Even as an 8 year old computer it still did everything really well. The screen (1920x1200) was awesome as well.

Negative points were the batteries needing replacing every year and the laptop getting ridiculously hot.

Nah the color gamut isn't really the best but i think iam ok with 75℅ color accuracy on srgb too

Just buy a sony
