Sometimes I adopt a pretty big power-stance to stay steady when I take a shot, but it is usually on an incline or when it's justifiable. I've seen some wacky asian tourists pull off some yoga-esque shit tho and it makes me chuckle.
>>2980136
every photographer should have a signature photo stance
>>2980168
i have mine, i call it "the white male".
dslr noobs haven't evolved articulating screens yet, and must do these back breaking poses just to see their composition.
It's about flexing your power level over other photographers.
Yes, when I shoot with 1/60 or slower. I never take my tripod for street photography.
>>2980198
Why not?
>>2980136
Not sure about "dramatic" stances, but being 6'2" I often have to crouch down to get a good angle, otherwise I'd end up looking down on most stuff. Cameras with a flip screen are a godsend, even if it's at least on just one axis.
>>2980258
I would say it is counter intuitive to street photography. Isn't the whole point to be running and gunning?
>>2980374
for 35mm maybe
>>2980374
Not if you like nighttime, neon, night lights and rain.

gotta charge meter to execute the specials
sometimes you gotta get into weird positions to get the shot
not all of us can frame in our heads
It attracts mates.
the habits of the photographus slavicus have spread to other species

Im fucking tired of animefags shitting all these fb tier memes
>>2981899
Are you ok? Do you need help? I don´t see how you´re contributing to the thread here.
But yes, there is a benefit. Full-on normies will think you´re very serious about your photography even if you´re holding a compact.
No tilty or swively screen can be annoying and sometimes striking a weird pose can be comfy even if you look like a retard.
>>2984669
>I don´t see how you´re contributing to the thread here.
Fucking kill yourself faggot, this thread shouldn't be here it has nothing to do with Photography.
>>2984686
But it does. It´s a discussion about whether or not there is a benefit to striking odd poses (During photography). Sure it´s not a gear circlejerk or RPT but it´s relevant. If you really hate it this much just go see if there´s any other threads that interest you.

>that stain on his crotch
he's pissed his pants??
>>2984689
Why don't you and every other retard in this thread follow your own advice and take this to the Stupid Questions thread?
>>2984698
Honestly this has a nice intimate feel here so no.
I´m just wondering why you´re still checking on this thread. It´s like you want people to reply.

The RX1 made him lose a couple chromosomes.
So how accurate is pic related?
>>2981899
What else were you expecting from a Mongolian fly fishing forum?
>>2985157
Art graduate looks retarded, you have to dense muscles and you end up shaking. Could just step back and stay like normal human.
>>2980272
this. i usually try to avoid just my standard eye level because thats the angle i fucking see every god damn thing from already. and its way better on the back to pop a squat (sometimes gotta lie down if i need more time) than to bend over.
