these are good. The shadows and colors really help to guide the eyes. The rest are sub-par, mainly because they lack what makes these two good.

Look for points in your hike where your eyes are drawn to a subject of some sort. Also don't be afraid to underexpose in wooded places like this.

Thanks for the invite my dude. I used to hike a lot when I was younger but fell out of it. I'm definitely gonna start going out a lot more.

I just have a few BW shots, most of which are rehash of stuff that's above. I plan on going back shooting a roll of color too, there's some more spots that will look great at different times of day.
