Borders are a great way to give the photos some space to breathe, it highlights good geometric compositions, and it removes the photos a tad from the blue tint on /p/.

The storm is/was pretty gnarly, eh? I'm just north of Adelaide, in the thick of it. There was a "tornado-like event" that caused 125kmph winds, within 2kms of where I'm staying. People lost their roofs (including the church, which I must remember to take some snaps of).

Totally digging the subtle colors and tones OP. However as another anon has pointed out the compositions leave just a little to be desired.

Always good to get some feedback and to have people take the time to view your work.
Hopefully if its one thing you get a feel for from viewing the set is a feeling of cold, grey unfeeling environments concrete and steel, i was hoping the angles i shot at made it seem also unpleasant and ugly. Its an environment that to most is an eyesore of lifelessness and industry.

I normally shoot straight on as seen by my other photos of houses and roadhouses around Australia. Normally my shots are clean neat and almost minimalistic. Here i wanted to create landscapes and environments that are shot at uncomfortable and awkward angles to emphasis how out of place these industrial areas are.

Clearly articulating thoughts into words isnt my thing but hopefully this is a nice epilogue to accompany the photos but i can understand if you think I'm full of shit.
