It's my first real camera after using a phone. The controls are easy to learn, and I feel like I can manipulate anything. It's automated modes seem rewarding for my modest purposes. I can see how other cameras surpass the lx100 in capabilities, in usability etc, but for the price it seemed like a great upgrade that's opened up shooting at night and more.

I haven't used the EVF, just yet.

I'm a bit late but I figured you deserve some actual constructive criticism... lower down the iso, or better yet get a real camera.Composition isn't bad but the emotions on the faces are flat and boring. Lighting is also dark, again this has to do with the camera or whatever you used to shoot this.

I have 2 DSLRs, a lot of lenses and i study/work mostly with video but often with pictures.

this was shot yesterday, i was in a restaurant, already decided what i wanted while others were still deciding, downloaded LR mobile on 4G on my MotoG3, took this picture only and graded it a bit, decided to ask here just for fun.

Technically this pic is shitty cause it's taken with a phone but i like the faces most. I like how every look they give is aimed at something recognizable and for this there's a lot of dynamic in the composition.

I don't know what /p/ says, i shot enough to understand how to take the pictures people want and how to take the pictures i want, this is my style.

I'm don't photograph interiors, but I would think that it would be better to capture more of what's behind the island (like getting up on a ladder and angling your shot accordingly). I don't see the point in including so much of the island; it seems sort of a waste to miss other information that could be included.

As far as cropping, I think making a portrait orientation with the man sitting against the wall with the two girls would work well, otherwise it has too much information. Try keeping your photos concise in what you choose to include with them, pick a few given elements and try to work with them.

First off you're taking pictures of things that aren't interesting at all in the first place. Secondly there is no interesting composition.
