This would be my recommendation, but if you truly can't spare the extra $50, but the newest powershot you can.

Im selling a Nikon D5200 on bonanza used. Its usually much more expensive but its a great camera and nothing is wrong with it.

I have a T5, I like it, I can get sharp photos with good color with what I've got. My camera isn't so good with low light, but the T5i would do a much greater job at that over the T5.
That's what I think anyways based on my time using my camera. It's my first DSLR, so I can't really add much more. I'm just responding since I have something close.

Amazon has some T5i bundles for $600 and up. If buying used, I've seen $410 to $460. I think it might be the best in its price range, if buying new.
