Hey there /p/,

I am new to film photography and I'm already in love with it. I have a couple questions....one is on the first 5 pictures or so of my first roll of film I have these aberrations that occur randomly on the film. My guess is that I accidentally exposed light to the film somehow? There are these random pink streaks on the film. See the picture uploaded. Later in the roll the film is exposed normally.

Second question is how do people photograph and invert their film digitally to lightroom or photoshop?

Yeah, that's likely just from loading. If you ever watch video of pros who shot things like sports on film, you'd see them burn the first few shots to make sure they don't end up with an awesome image that's fucked by a partial exposure.

As for your final question, check out the film general.
>>
>>2910150
Yeah as the other anon said that's from loading the film and then winding the film with the back open. It looks like you've wound it quite far on with the back open (that's shot 7).

Load it, slot the leader in, wind it once. If it loads properly close the back and you're good to go.

well, that was probably the fifth shot or so that I took...so the light must have crept in from the reel. I suppose this will come with experience. I was unsure with that roll if the camera was loading properly so I was paranoid for the most part.

Hey you dumb faggot, check out the exif data. I have a 7d and I used a 100mmL lens.

Just because I want to explore my hobby more in a different angle doesn't mean that I'm not still shooting like the rest of modern culture.

You're like a guy who uses 3d modelling software and then scoffs at someone that models with clay. Grow up queerbait.

I take a picture with my DSLR using a 50mm and extension tubes and to invert them I do each RGB channel separately. It gives me better results or at least to my liking. I've been thinking about using one of those programs that include presets for all kinds of films just to see the results.
>>

>>2910345
Also, crop out the frame and perforations when inverting it, if you want them just un-crop them after inverting your photos.

I know, I was taking a very quick shot just to show the discoloration in the picture, I took some more time to really show the actual color diffence in >>2910235

So I'm guessing it's just a light issue....is this why people buy 36 film strips instead of 24? To sacrifice the first 3 or 4 shots?
>>
>>2910352
>To sacrifice the first 3 or 4 shots?

i get like 38 shots from my 36 shots canister. lrn to load ur camera, u ass.
>>
>>2910343
>someone that models with clay
pipe down, peasant.
>>
Learn to load the film. Its not that hard. I usually put the small tip (shit thats coming out of roll) in and reel about halfway, then shut the back and reel other half, take a shot (it will be ruined) and reel one more time. But now i dont have any trouble with that shit cuz i got canon 500n slr wich does it itself.

You two can pipe down too.
It was my first roll of film ever, and I was going slowly to not fuck it up too bad.
Secondly, what is wrong with the clay analogy? It fits pretty well.
