You have potential to take good headshots, here are some friendly suggestions.
Avoid the landscape meme and shoot portait orientation.
Watch your lighting, you have blown out highlights in hair on camera right.
You're going to be tempted to go full open aperture, but don't do it. You're at 2.8 in your shot and you already have falloff blurring her eye and most of her hair. You need slightly more DOF or you'll find that your best shots are ruined by blur.
Watch out with the makeup - her eyelash mascara looks like shit, particularly on upper lash.
Careful with the mouth. Biting the lip meme is okay for boudoir but absolutely not appropriate for a headshot.
Wardrobe - I always keep the top simple and look for a color that brings out the eyes or contrasts nicely with the hair. The problem in this image is the bra strap showing, which isn't what you want on a headshot. Also, her grey wifebeater makes her shoulders look muscular and unfeminine, which might be okay for a Nike ad, but not if she's auditioning for Cinderella.
Camera level - always aim to keep the plane of the camera around your subject's eye level so that the subject isn't looking up or down, unless you specifically want that larger/smaller than life look.

The half up half down hair is a good move, especially for subjects with long hair.
Should have been portrait, not landscape orientation.
Fill the frame with your subject. Crop tighter, don't be afraid to crop some of her hair and elbows.
Edits here are atrocious. The eyes have been ruined -- the blue color looks totally unnatural and you never want to make the whites of the eyes that bright, it's a dead giveaway of photoshop.
The makeup looks like it was caked on with a cement trowel. Stress to your model that she shouldn't wear any of that crap on her cheeks or eyes because it won't look good on camera. The camera sees makeup differently than the human eye, so your models shouldn't wear anything other than lipstick and eye liner and mascara.
You shouldn't stand your model against your background, it causes shadows and it's a dead giveaway that you're an amateur because all beginner photographers stand their models next to trees/brick walls/cars/wooden walls/statues/painted walls, you get the idea.

Friendly suggestions: keep the camera plane level with your subject's eyes. In this shot, your camera was too high, causing your model to look upwards and making white of the eyes appear below the iris (colored part). If you brought the camera down a little bit, her eyes would have been looking straight forward and you would have a nice round, centered iris, which is what looks most natural.
Another suggestion: you have a lot of facial distortion because you're at 52mm (35mm + crop factor). You can't really get good closeups or headshots without more focal length. The more you increase focal length, the less distortion you'll see in her face, pic related.
Aperture doesn't need to be so open, you're not blurring out the background. Smaller aperture would have given you much better focus.

EYES: you lost half the iris (colored part) in each eye, bring your camera down a bit to her eye level so she's not looking up at it, and try to have her eyes looking in the same direction that her nostrils are pointed. When you direct your model to move her head, it should be tiny movements of just less than an inch at a time. When the head is turned far to one side, you'll end up with one eye looking much larger than the other, beware.

Evidently you've got all sorts of silly rules in your mind about what not to do when composing a portrait. Let's begin with cropping.
It's absolutely okay to crop a person's hands, legs, hair, hat, body, and so on. You're not going to be able to compose a tight portrait or headshot without cropping, so you just have to accept that and move on.
Don't leave background space above your model's head. We're going to fill the frame with our subject. That means her head will most certainly be against the top of frame, in fact we'll go even father and we're going to crop some of her hair. That's how professionals compose their closeups and headshots.
Composition - when you're filling the frame with your subject in a portrait or headshot, the rule of thirds doesn't apply. Forget rule of thirds, just look up some portraits from Vogue or GQ or ELLE and you'll see lots of examples and ideas to inspire you.

I personally choose to leave space in my portraits because I'm not trying to get a headshot, there are others forms of portraits. If I was going for a headshot type of portrait, I would've got right in her face to take a photo and frame it accordingly in-camera.
