Cameras are no different, you've randomly poked at the shutter and created garbage.
What makes it worse is that you've randomly poked the shutter on auto mode, which means I need to update the guitar analogy. I can see you thinking about composition, and it's nice to see a negative space shot from a beginner.
You have the right idea, but try to take photos of things that aren't painfully boring, or take photos of them in unique ways that make them seem interesting. Also the light is pretty flat and ugly.

OP, sorry if you thought you could jump straight in and be a good photographer because someone once told you you have a good eye. Doesn't work like that, it requires practice just as much - if not more than any other art.
The problem you've come up against is that a "perfect quality" image is a click away, imagine you want to draw, but it's instantly implied that everyone can draw to a photorealistic standard - to stand out, to be considered "good" you would have to provide something in your drawings that other artists were not, something that is 100% unreliant on technical ability.

Shots with so many small objects (plus plants etc) also IMO are hard to get right on weaker lenses. Having many poorly resolved objects kinda sucks. Well, even if you get them right, you should possibly play with the JPEG compression to see that it doesn't wreck the shot too much. JPEG is nice, but not the most clever format ever invented, and small object mush is just kinda unpleasant.
