Hello, first time on /p/. Sorry in advance if this question doesn't belong here.
I'm not a photographer, just a normie who takes photos with my phone here and there. BUT...there's one thing I find lacking nowadays.
I had a couple of Fujifilm cameras (3.2 mp, 5 mp) back in the day. They both had a great feature, where it would take a photo both with and without flash automatically at the same time. As a non-photographer, I never know when to use flash and when not to (let alone modes and manual tweaking etc). I always have to guess, and I get it wrong half the time. Or I have to take one, and then switch the flash mode and take the other, etc etc. Not convenient, esp when taking photos of friends and family, or a quick snap is needed (a nice cat momentarily wandering into my garden). Taking both automatically and then choosing which ones I prefer at my own leisure is much more convenient.
So...is there any camera app these days that offers such a feature (on Android)? Or if not a Play Store-available app, then does any phone manufacturer make their own exclusive camera app with the feature? I'd make that my next purchase. Thanks.

On second thought, ugh who wants to look at her ugly mug. File deleted. I'll post two I just took with my Moto X, to illustrate the point. (Yes I know the quality is terrible lel)

The stupid "flash" you have is a ridiculous led with barely 2 meters of reach. It can't even trigger a real flash.
>Not convenient, esp when taking photos of friends and family, or a quick snap is needed
Well, it's the point of phone photography, being "convenient". Save some money and buy a real camera if pictures matters to you.

It doesn't matter THAT much (high quality photos), but at least getting the 'flash or no flash' question in each instance without having to fiddle or double check would be nice, hence the question.

Yeah, I remember that kind of thing. Useful gimmick, that was. Haven't seen it since 2006, though.
I don't think anything like that is made today, but I wish you luck in your search, anon
