What's the best website or social media page to sell camera gear? I don't mind eBay taking 10% when it's something under like £400 but when I'm selling an expensive body I'm getting real sick of it, it's such a waste of money.

Avoid selling on eBay if you can, as they will always screw over the seller to keep the buyer happy when there is a dispute. Imagine this scenario;
1.) I buy your camera
2.) You pack it well, ship it to me, it arrives fine, I throw away the packaging
3.) I use it for 6 weeks then drop it, breaking it
4.) I open a case with eBay claiming that it arrived broken due to insufficient packaging

I am in Aus and always use Gumtree, I have not usd eBay for many years.
I just sold my entire Nikon setup and switched to Fuji, the switch was relatively painless.
The main thing that affected my resale value was grey imports on eBay, a new f/2.8 zoom bought here compared to online can sometimes have a difference of $1000+
