Great idea, hadn't thought of that. I was just thinking of it meandering into the distance, but going corner to corner would be more striking.

i like the choice of your clock, looks old and dirty, but with a clock out in nature, the theme for me should be how over time nature takes over. meaning the clock shouldn't be stages and perfect looking. just imo. you know how opinions are on the board...

I love abandoned photos and i love nature photos so i especially love the 2 combined. i visited alot of insane asylums and abandoned buildings while i use to travel for work, but unfortunately i only had my cellphone as a camera at the time and had no knowledge of photography either, i was just documenting my adventures...

also, i like these photos alot more, those sticks around the clock in thr first photo are too distracting and give it that staged feel.

and as for the flower and garbage photo, i like the concept. i would try to find a spot with more garbage and less plants, it seems like the theme is how nature overpowers human shit, but i feel the point would be more powerful it a single flower would be sprouting out of a pile of garbage.

Cheers for the comments, they mean a lot.

My idea for the clock was that the tree is growing out of it, like different paths people take over the course of their life. But it doesn't come across since it's not part of a themed album so I didn't mention it.

And the trash was just contrasting an old faded can next to a nice young flower.

Actually the clock photos were taken on some wasteground which has lots of interesting trash like that, your posts about abandoned places have made me inspired to go back there and shoot with a theme, I might go with your "nature overpowering manmade stuff". Thanks!
