The first couple of lowlight ones make the low light performance on that bady look really bad. There's also a fair bit of camera shake evident in at least one of the shots.
Your lens seems as sharp as mine generally are. There is some variation in image quality between the numerous I have, but these images don't seem too far from "normal".
I forget, but i think my ZM-6A is technically slightly better than this one.
Re: fast shutter speeds - you don;t always need them. The moon and anything that isn't actually moving quickly, so won't motion blur, can be shot with lower speeds as long as you stabilise the camera. People talk about tripods and mirror lockup, timers etc.. but the best way to shoot the moon is simply hand held, lean or lie against something really solid, and rest the gear in a rolled towel or blanket. Spot meter the moon and shoot with an exposueretime down near 1/125th sec. Obviously you need to take several shots to compensate for your heartbeat and other twitching, atmospheric disturbances, focus, etc... but its a lot easier than using a tripod and is almost always more stable AND much easier to track the moon as it zooms out of your viewfinder.
I used all of my catadioptrics hand held at one point or another, mostly just to see how useable it was. So it can be done, you just have to learn to stabilise. Monopods like manfrottos neotek are good. Just leaning against a wall is free-er.

The inner hemispheres and prisms begin to go dark very easily in anyhting but full sun, making them totally useless. Patricularly with the smaller diameter lenses. Yours is on the large side of medium for that focallenght, so it woul dbe a lot like my ZM, which iirc has a slightly larger front element diamerter. I would never use a split hemisphere on my cats. I have. It sucked ass.

Well, I tried watching through the lense using 10mm ocular from friends telescope. Magnification was similar to that in viewfinder, but image was brighter. It looked like it's sharper than photos, so it might be movement and focusing blur. I think I'll trie to look with barlow lense later, magnification would be bigger, so I could see better if the resolution is high enough.

At some distances the annular boke isn't apparent, so it can be difficult to say with any certainty, but superficially this shot doesn't look like it was shot with a catadioptric at all.
These lenses can be sharp, and yes shake is almost always the problem, but non-reflex lenses will almost always be sharper with better contrast.
I used to love my 500mm/6.3 and 500mm/8, but autofocus, speed and ease of use, and of course clarity means I haven't used them for years. Of course next time I shoot an airshow, or something where i need serious reach, I will be using my 1000mm/11, because that really is the only option.

One can I say, teleconverter, mini monopod with clamps + windowstill and long exposure time -> quite good focus. But still moon is quite blurry on 1/20 on that monopod. (Maybe because lens starts vibrating from shutter opening impulse?)

Always reduce image quality somewhat.
I own several, all old and not perfect, but reasonably good as you can see from the "2000mm" moon shot, but I will probably never use any of them again ..because they reduce image quality.

No shit, I made better moonshots with my cheap ass Sigma 400 manual focus and cropped in. These have no depth, no details, smudgy and heavily laden with CA, I wouldn't call them reasonably good.
The only TCs that can be worked with are the 1.4x ones, or just simply don't use a TC and crop in.

It's catadioptric, not newtonian. The camera lens versions have lots of refractive elements, even the astro cassegrains have some corrective elements.

Sigma 400/5.6 APO MF. You can find some of it on ebay, there are somescrewdrive AF versions too. Same as the Tokina 400mm prime.

Mine has it but still usable, not that severe as the one above. Still gives a bit of softness because the contamination is in the focusing group.
