I got one for christmas as well
It's a fun little toy

One problem I've had was that the film counter doesn't work properly and it seems to tear the sprocket holes.

Anyways I wouldn't use this for any serious shots, maybe at a party or something. Take fun pictures and then print them out and hand it to people the day after or something.

They're great for decoration. Not for taking pictures. The point of the Konstruktor is to be entertaining when you're building it, not to actually be a functional camera.

Buy a cheap Zenit for $5 and have some fun shooting.

Thats interesting cause my film is winding fine without tearing. Yeah i cant see myself using this over my Nikon

Yeah I couldn't imagine a build your own film camera would come close to a factory built cam. But was fun to build

So can you do any cool customization on these or is it just for the fun of building the kit?

I'm sure it would be possible but its a very simple build, I dont see where customization could come in to it. You get decals and things you can use or could do your own stencils but seems like just aesthetics
