What is a good camera/lens combo for taking long exposure beam shots like this? I used an A7 + kit lens and it just wasn't good enough in low lighting to make anything remotely similar to this.

I once tried that meme camera for 3 days and I don't understand the hype. Recharge battery after 300 shots, 5fps EVF, ugly boxy 90's camera aesthetics, etc.
